A great show and a full house.

We had 9 performers and all of them were great. But I have to single out two, whom I thought tonight we head-and-shoulders above the rest. This is no disrespect to the others, whom were good, but sometimes particular acts connect with the audience and have unusual material that really stands out

Nick Chang

Jack Toop

He was excellent. His 8 minute was in two sections: a story based on the Life of Pi, but with a surreal twist; a song about how he was sexual aroused and obsessed by a Fiat Panda he called 'Celilia'

Daniel Piper

Paul Murrell

Wayne Beese

Liz Garnett

Andrew McBurney

Wow what can I say. Never seen comedy material like this. He plays a depressed, almost suicidal character, who is devastated by his girlfriend leaving him. As he goes through his act he innocently reveals layer by layer why she left him ...and for understandable reasons. He had the audience laughing out loud throughout his 8 minutes. To achieve this on would normally be considered unfunny material is astonishing.

Wizzy Janew

Jim Carroll

Geoff Whiting
Geoff was compare for the evening and was simply brilliant. He ad lib-ed with the audience and performed some of his normal act material. There wasn't a weak part in any of his material - even the ad lib-ed stuff. The audience where laughing out loud throughout both his 10 minute compere sections
