Great night of comedy and a full house.

Special thanks are due to Mirth Control who managed to find a new opening act, Steve Day, when our compere and opening act ended up not being to make it, due to being stuck in a massive traffic on the A40 in London.

Mark Felgate

Excellent. With the looks and the humour of Eric Morecombe, Mark had the audience laughing out loud throughout his act.

Steve Day

Great opener. His jokes about his disability were excellent. Indeed, his skit about why disabled people never buy their round in a pub was laugh-out-loud.

Craig Leggo

For me Craig was the revelation of the night. His performance is smooth and confident and is surely a star of the future. Even when he was testing some rather groan-worthy new jokes, he had the audience laughing in his response to us groaning. However, he hit top gear when he started doing near perfect impersonations of Sean Connery, Liam Neeson and Arnold Schwarzenegger and imagining them in a parallel universe where they hadn’t made it famous and where doing every day jobs. It is worth seeing this act for these impersonations.

He did 15 minutes and it was a strong 15 minutes

Sal Monello

Sal took over the compering job as a last minute replacement.
