Brilliant night of comedy. Nicely full

Jeff Leach
Jeff just took the roof off. I honestly didn’t know what to expect from him, but ended up several times nearly on the floor laughing. He is a massive ball of energy, lunging about the stage, using different voices for characters – I felt as if I had been treated to a one man Shakespearian play. He had some great material on why men like James Bond and how to win X-Factor. He did 35 minutes, but I could have quite happily listened to him for hours

Cerys Nelmes
She completely blew us away a few months ago, when she compared here. This time she was the opening act and she blew us away again. Opening any comedy show is difficult, since the audience is still cold, but Cerys had the audience laughing out loud throughout her 20 minutes – I’m laughing now whilst writing this thinking of the photo she posted on facebook for her son’s 16th birthday......and yes, I do agree she looks far too young to have a 16 year old child.

Rob Thomas
What a great compare. His audience interaction was excellent and his gags were superb. His gag on escalator sex nearly had the audience nearly collectively collapse on the floor – I’m sure I heard one person clap at how good the punch line was.

Jamie Gosney
Jamie is still developing his act and it is coming on a treat. Confident with lots of good gags

Sezar Alkassab
Now this is an interesting act. Half Scottish, half Iraqi, but went to a Catholic School “because it was across the road and his parents weren’t religious” Great material on the Catholic religion and various Bible stories. At a time when people are nervous to make jokes about religion, his material was strangely refreshing......and funny
