Packed show . The star of the show for me was Andy Stedman. Great compere

Tim Clark

Great headliner. Good gags.

John Simmit

With his links to the Teletubbies, John always pulls a crowd. Nicely laid back, his gags plop out on a regular basis, getting the audience laughing thoughout.

Tom Vrlic

Tom is a Slovenian comic on a short break in Britain. He has been learning English for two years, so he has a very strong Eastern European accent. This was his second gig in Britain – the first one was at a Gong Show, where he was gonged out after three lines. So this was his first full gig in Britain.

His strong accent and pronunciation of certain words was hilarious.

Cally Beaton

There is a nucleus of a great act here. A middle aged single mother, who is dating again. She had quite a lot of good jokes.

Andy Stedman

Great compere. You know you’ve got a good compere, when the audience themselves become part of the show and they are bantering with the compere. Andy just has this ability to get the audience on his side. He did a ‘Sit down if you have never done this’ competition – something so simple, in Andy’s hands was made hilarious with his way of getting members of the audience to admit to past ‘naughty’ deeds.
