Great show – audience back to normal levels. Alan Franics is a comic genius

Alan Francis

This comic is a genius. He is so funny that I had one member of audience come up to me afterwards admitting that at one stage he was laughing so much, that he had problems breathing.

There was so much wonderful material there – I’m laughing now thinking of his tale of going to a London pub where a fight broke out and he pretended to be a person with learning difficulty.

Tamar Broadbent
An interesting musical act with comic songs about life as a single lady.

Paul Adams

A nice 10 minutes.

Dimitri Bakanov

Really good – a strong 15 minutes. He hits the fact that he is Eastern European – half Russian, half Ukrainian – smack bang on the head straight away “there was supposed to be a British comedian in this slot, but I’ve replaced them, because I’m cheaper”. Good gags about the Russian-Ukrainian conflict and his various foreign girlfriends.

Nico Yearwood

I had been told by another comedian that Nico was a good compere and I wasn’t disappointed. Originally from Barbados, he has this lovely Caribbean accent, plus living in London gives him this streetwise persona. Great banter with the audience.
